Dependence: Two Faced | 2010
n.b. This song was originally written differently until I decided it was just too bad ad changed it to how it is now.
This is also the first song I wrote that I actually thought about structure, I don’t know any of the technical names for it, but the slight chord changes in the verse riff are replicated in the tremolo solo rhythm riff too.
It started the whole idea of repeating motifs in music, which in ‘Independence..’ you’ll notice will happen A LOT.

It’s a Pearl VMX (gotta go for the 100% maple. None of that hybrid stuff). This means I add it to my other Pearl stuff and have an 8 drum kit.
8x8, 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 16x16, and 22x18 bass and a 14x5.5 (non snare) and a 14x6.5 main snare.
Means thats nothing remains of the terrible (but sentimentally lovely) kit my Father first bought me 7 years ago.
